Challenge #1 - Edu

FIRST! Ok, so this is my proposal. Hope you like them. ;)

I don't think I'll have to explain the first photo, the second one are "strata" I found last time I went to Hovedøya (Oslo, Norway). More info about this island here.
Enjoy!

Edit: I've been asked about the second photo many times, therefore I'll add just that strata formation needs thousands, millions of years. "As time passes by..." ;)

I like both of your ideas. I'll start with the second one which is about strata. Very great idea to think about strata to represent the time but the picture looks too flat and maybe monotonous... (not sure it's exactly what I feel).
For the first picture, first, I want to thank you. That's this one which give me the idea for my picture ^^ So thank you! :-p I really liked the idea to take the expression just as it is and not as an expression

Hey! I'm glad it gave you the idea. ;)
About the strata I don't see it monotonous, but yeah, it's quite flat ^^' Hehehehe
What I like about yours is the perspective! Don't know, but it has something I really like!

Hi Edu!
Congratulations for your both pictures. The first one seems to me really funny! I like it, but I would like to ask you how did you do to get all the picture black, focusing the attention to the numbers? and my other question is what exposure time did you used to get the movement? Really a goog job!!
About the second one, well, I agree with LeMouton about it looks too flat. I think the right side of the picture looks really nice, but the problem is the left side. Perhaps looking for a rugger strata. I don't know. In any case, I like both pictures!

Tusen takk Fer!!
The picture was taken at 3 a.m. in my room with almost no light. I set the parameters as followed:
· Shutter priority (S mode)
· Exposure time: 6"
· ISO 100
· Vivid colours
· High saturation

What I did was shooting the picture and after 2 seconds of exposure I started moving the clock to the right.
About the second one, I know, it looks flat, -_-' but I didn't managed to take a better picture.
Anyway, thanks for your comments guys!!
